The Makerere University Centre of Excellence for Maternal Newborn & Child Health was established in 2013 to serve as a one stop centre for information, research and capacity building. The centre operates as a knowledge management arm for the national newborn steering committee to the meet the desire of increasing access and availability of reliable knowledge and information to stimulate action and service delivery.
