Our TV show is finally here – in October 2020 Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH) embarked on a Journey to partner with Family TV fulfilling one of her core mandates of community service.  The TV show series is up and running and we had our very first successful episode airing on Friday 22nd January discussing nutrition of mothers and newborns. The recording for this can be found on Family TV’s YouTube channel and TV app here.

Through her Makerere University Centre of Excellence for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Research, the MakSPH, is working with Family Television through a health Program to disseminate topical health information to her viewers. This show focuses on sharing knowledge on topical issues in health such as Maternal, Newborn and Child Health services, reproductive health, nutrition and early childhood development to all people in Uganda and all over the world for the internet audience. This show airs at 7pm every Friday of the week and viewers are encouraged to give constructive feedback and share topics of interest around health for the show to serve them purposefully.
